Day 2 - today
Walking around Yokohama in the cold has left me with a very bad cold (maybe flu).
Day 1
Went to Yokohama for the first time. Japan is actually hotter than the UK now however the constant cold piercing wind in Yokohama made the weather worse than it usually is.
Britain floods
Heavy rain and high winds have been causing havock in certain parts of Britain this week and causing major floording which as forecasters warned would spread across the country.
Domain Parking
The whole idea behind domain parking is to allow domain owners to be able to get some return on their investment during the period that their domain sites are unused. An example can be during development.
Airline tickets - Costs
Every single year, it feels as though there are a bunch of people from different airlines, in room agreeing on how much they will raise long distant flights!
End of an Era - Canterbury
On Thurday this week, my last friend in Canterbury will be leaving Canterbury. Jarek and I shared a house together and quickly became best friends. His wife was the boss who told us to clean the house etc but everyday was great fun.
Electric Drum Kits? Why the TD-20K?
One question that most drummers who do not know anything about electronic drums will ask is why choose an electronic drum kit? There are a lot of reasons for this.
1. Reduced noice (for playing in residential areas)
2. Maximise space (as most electric kits are smaller than the standard 5 piece accoustic kit)
3. Electric kits are portable
4. Electric kits have a variety of sounds that a drummer can play with
The list goes on!
Roland, don't give me a heart attack!
It feels like last Christmas was only yesterday and now it is December, I am sure that there is some theory to days passing faster as we grow older… I remember someone saying it was to do with the human metabolic rate (or clock) but did not pay a lot of attention to it

My Roland TD20 Drum Kit! Woot!
I have been patiently waiting for the opportunity to get a new drumkit since I sold mine (after Uni). I have been eyeing up the V-DRUMS as a good friend allowed me to borrow his for a year and there is no better electric drum kit than the VDRUMS (I can hear Yamaha drummers rolling with rage )
