I was watching BBC Breakfast news (I know… how sad) when I heard the mention of the beast!
On December 7, 2007, Gibson proudly presented the Gibson Robot Guitar ? the world’s first guitar with robotic technology.
Gibson states that “Since the dawn of the instrument, musicians have come to accept the guitar’s imperfections and lack of tonal precision as necessary evils.
“Onstage and off, guitarists have fought to stay in tune. Every music lover and performer has had to suffer through the show?halting, mood-killing atonal droning of a loudly amped guitar being brought into tune.
“And in the studio, or at home, imprecise intonation throws the guitar in and out of tune, up and down the neck, as the instrument requires tweaking with each season and at times with each string change.”
I have tried to think of what I think may be wrong with this invention but I find it hard to criticise this innovation as it has a lot of positive points. It also allows for D-tuning a guitar etc, this is just great!
I am currently recording some stuff with my guitars and it is just annoying when you record and whilst recording you realise that the guitar is SLIGHTLY out of tune!!!! so you have to stop the recording to tune the guitar!! In some cases, the guitar track that was recorded that was slightly out of tune was a the perfect take for the track but due to the fact it is out of tune, you just have to delete that track! This innovation solves that! For a price or about £1300 for this technology and a genuine Gibson Les Paul guitar, then that is (in my perception) great value for money… Only downside is, I do not have the money

I have been playing the guitar for almost 15 years now and all that time I have played on several guitar pedals but I have never bought or owned one. A few months ago, I started playing the guitar daily and practising the basic scales needed to solo. I decided to buy a pedal and the one that really caught my eye was the Zoom g9.2tt Guitar Pedal.
Here is a pic of the pedal
This is the pic of my electric kit
One of the great points of this wonderful pedal is the USB port and Cubase software which allows you to record straight to a PC. I have had this pedal for a week now and so far I have recorded one complete song on my PC! I am so estatic!
Over a decade ago, I tried ZOOM pedals and they were really awful, actually Boss pedals were better however, I just cannot believe how they have really perfected the Zoom g9.2tt Guitar Pedal and the sounds are awesome! Absolutely great! I know that I will enjoy this for years to come. It is so great to have this.

Be warned, its just technical details for the guitar pedal freaks!
This is going to be the barebone that I will get soon. The next PC that I intend to build. This is not for me but for my better half. The specification is as follows.
