C [Member] in response to: Zoom g9.2tt Guitar Pedal

Yes I believe it is...

The Gnx4 is a workstation rather than a pedal. It also has a USB for recording live music and very good functionality. Unlike the Gnx4, the g9.2tt is extremely tweakable, it has a much faster patch switching in comparison to the Gnx4...

Here is a reviewer's comment
"BLOWS DIGITECH, POD, LINE6, BOSS AWAY....PERIOD.
by Wow...great job Zoom. from San Antonio, Texas, June 2007
Music Background: Pro musician 12 plus years. Live, studio, tour, etc.

I play guitar professionally 5 nights a week. I am always in search of the best tone possible. I HATE a processor with a tinny, thin, fake digital sound. I NEED the tube warmth, fatness, etc. THIS PROCESSOR DELIVERS. Zoom REALLY did their homework on this one. I was one to buy the Digitech GNX4 with all the supermodels CD's, etc. and still couldn't get what I was looking for..genuine fat tubey LOW NOISE sound. You want it, and this thing delivers...hands down. I just went to a clinic with George Lynch, and he should have been playing thru this unit exclusively. Hats off to Zoom, I have owned every freakin' processor out there, and from the great bluesy Black Crowes tone to Dimebag, to singing 80's type leads, and super crunchy rhythms, it performs. Read the manual and stop tweaking for HOURS on the other tinny digital modelers."
Haha, he definitely would be the perfect answer and you are lucky to see such a legend perform live in front of you! I also play the drums alot and have been a fan of Terry Bozzio (also play his style of drums) and watching him perform live was a great motivation and inspiration. Hope that is the same for you when you see J Satriani!
